NKwanda Jah was our Assembly host. She is executive director of the Cultural Arts Coalition and chair of the Alachua County NAACP Environment Committee. Our theme was "Visions of Mother Earth: Clean Water, Clean Air, Healthy Food & Youth." We visited former brownfield sites, a community garden, and an organic farm, met with community leaders and held discussions on the relationship between small farms and the environment and related topics.
